SPECIALTY

IHG Paraffin Solvent Line - pSOLV

Chemical dissolution treatment necessitates application of solvents that will effectively and efficiently remove paraffin wax deposits, dissolving the paraffin regardless of structure, size, or melting point. This process requires much less energy compared with melting the wax crystals. Solvent effectiveness improves with increased temperature and agitation. Our custom blends can be utilized alone or in combination with your field fluid to enhance downhole treating applications.

IHG Paraffin Dispersant Line- pDISP

These compounds can chemically coat small particles and change their ability to adhere to each other or pipe surfaces. In the small particle state, paraffin will stay suspended in the bulk hydrocarbon fluid for trouble-free movement throughout the process.

Great dispersants possess a strong spreading force on paraffin surfaces, which make it possible for the chemistry to penetrate accumulated masses of paraffin, coat the particles and, therefore, remove them from surfaces into the bulk-produced fluids.

We review your target geology and water source to develop a custom chemical solution that enhances performance and is cost effective.

DOWNSTREAM

IHG PARAFFIN INHIBITOR LINE- PINH

These materials have effects on paraffin deposition, crude oil viscosity, pour point and pumpability. The crystal distorters are thought to be structurally similar to microcrystalline waxes and has crystal structures of the small irregular type. If the cloud point or wax appearance temperature of the modifier can be matched to that of the n-paraffins coming out of hydrocarbon solution, then the chemistry will work under the optimum mechanism

Wax control in extreme cold weather conditions has been a problem for operators and service companies alike due to the lack of chemical products which can be applied in standard concentration ranges and also remain soluble, stable, and pumpable in such conditions. IHG is now providing groundbreaking solutions that solve this technical issue with our new pINH paraffin inhibitor products.

This technology is designed to liquify paraffin, asphaltene and resin deposits throughout the production system by influencing Van der Waals attractive forces, without the need for heat or other additives. This revolutionary chemistry inhibits new deposits, is an effective pour point depressant, efficiently breaks tight oil/water emulsions, lowers viscosity, and is an environmentally safe, and nontoxic chemistry.

The IHG product offering to mange phase, liquid/liquid, liquid/rock surface interactions is very robust and includes the following categories:

IHG PHASE INTERACTION

  • Temporary and permanent control technologies

  • Optimized chemistries for both migratory and swellable types of clay & shales

IHG Shale and Clay Management
The IHG shale and clay chemistry product offering comprises of the following:

Chemistry types include:

  • Unique polymer/ bio based synthesized materials

  • Surfactant based

  • Amines, ether amines, imines

Mixing of incompatible formation and injected waters; changes in temperature and pressure over the producing well; and corrosion and issues caused by injection of various chemicals can contribute to mineral scale buildup in the reservoir, on tubing and equipment. This can result in slowing oil and gas flow and degrading equipment performance, negatively affecting a well’s flow rate. Our scale management chemistry performs across a broad range of minerals and offers exceptional results for both topside and downhole scaling.

IHG SCALE AND IRON MANAGEMENT:

  • helation and sequestration technology

  • Dispersant technology

  • Threshold style inhibitors

  • For fracturing and re-fracturing applications - Unique solid formulations for proppant pack treatment

The IHG product offering includes:
